Accessibility
Last updated: October 16, 2026
Ruvik is committed to making our website, partner-facing tools, and learner products usable for as many people as possible. This page explains our accessibility approach and how to get help if something does not work for you.
1. Our commitment
Ruvik works in Information Technology & Software Development for education—infrastructure for institutes and products for learners. Accessibility is part of that mission: information should be perceivable, operable, and understandable whether you use a screen reader, keyboard only, magnification, or other assistive technology.
We are actively improving ruvik.com and our ecosystem products. This statement describes our goals, what we already prioritize, and how you can report barriers you encounter.
2. Standards & goals
We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA for ruvik.com and new experiences we ship. Conformance is an ongoing process—not a one-time audit.
Scope
This page covers the Ruvik marketing site (ruvik.com). Sister products such as jeeplanner, jeepredictor, and openseats may have separate interfaces; we apply the same principles there and welcome feedback on any of them.
3. What we prioritize
On ruvik.com and in our design system, we work toward:
- Semantic structure: meaningful headings, landmarks, and labels so assistive tech can navigate pages logically.
- Keyboard access: interactive controls reachable and usable without a mouse, with visible focus where possible.
- Color & contrast: brand blue (#0033E5) and body text chosen for readability; we avoid conveying information by color alone.
- Text alternatives: descriptive alt text for meaningful images; decorative images marked appropriately.
- Responsive layout: content reflows on small screens and when text is enlarged.
- Motion: we limit non-essential animation and respect prefers-reduced-motion where supported.
4. Known gaps & ongoing work
Some third-party embeds, legacy pages, or rapidly shipped features may not yet meet our target. We track issues, fix high-impact barriers first, and fold accessibility into new work—not only retrofits.
If a part of the site blocks you from completing a task (reading FAQs, contacting us, or reaching a product link), please tell us—we treat that as a priority defect.
5. Feedback & assistance
We want to hear from you. When you report an issue, include the page URL, what you were trying to do, the technology you use (browser, screen reader, device), and any error messages if relevant.
