Developer policy

Last updated: October 16, 2026

Ruvik is an Information Technology & Software Development company providing infrastructure for coaching institutes, tuition centres, and education partners. This policy governs subdomains, hosted modules, and branding within the Ruvik ecosystem—including tools that extend our products or serve institute and developer use cases. By using Ruvik infrastructure, APIs, or developer resources, you agree to the following terms.

1. Ownership of infrastructure

Domain rights

Root domains, product domains (including jeeplanner, jeepredictor, openseats, and other Ruvik-operated properties), and any subdomains we provision (for example, *.ruvik.co.in or partner paths on Ruvik infrastructure) remain the exclusive property of Ruvik unless otherwise agreed in writing.

License to use

Subdomains and hosted modules are granted to developers as a revocable license—not a transfer of ownership. Ruvik reserves the right to suspend or terminate any subdomain or hosted environment at its sole discretion for branding misalignment, security risk, policy violation, or harm to the ecosystem.

2. Mandatory branding hierarchy

To maintain ecosystem integrity, all tools hosted on Ruvik infrastructure or distributed as Ruvik ecosystem modules must follow these UI standards:

  • Primary attribution: The footer or header of any tool hosted on a Ruvik subdomain must explicitly state “An Ruvik ecosystem project” or “Powered by Ruvik.”
  • Visual identity: The Ruvik wordmark or approved logo must appear on all primary landing pages of the subdomain or module entry point.
  • Product clarity: If your tool extends jeeplanner, jeepredictor, or openseats, name and describe the integration honestly—do not imply official IIT, NTA, or institutional endorsement.

3. Independence & liability

Content responsibility

Ruvik provides the house—domains, hosting, and shared infrastructure where applicable. You are responsible for the furniture—content, tool logic, data handling, and user-facing claims.

Non-partnership

Use of a subdomain, API, or hosted module does not create a legal partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship. Developers and integrators are independent contributors unless a separate signed agreement says otherwise.

Student data

Handle student and user data lawfully and minimally. Do not scrape, resell, or repurpose Ruvik product data outside the scope of your approved integration.

4. Termination of hosting

Ruvik reserves the right to reclaim any subdomain or revoke hosting if the developer:

  • Attempts to misrepresent Ruvik ownership or imply exclusive ownership of ecosystem infrastructure.
  • Fails to maintain the required branding and attribution standards.
  • Operates the tool in a way that negatively impacts the reputation of Ruvik, its products, or its users.
  • Breaches security expectations, abuses APIs, or bypasses rate limits and access controls.

5. APIs & developer resources

Documentation, API keys, embeds, and sample code are provided for stated use cases only. Keys are non-transferable and must be stored securely. Report vulnerabilities to us before public disclosure.

The Ruvik website, product ecosystem, and developer infrastructure are owned and operated by Narendra Meesala and Likhith Sai Botta on behalf of Ruvik.
